Complete a Full School Year High School Science Credit
with Labs in 4 Busy but Fun Weeks
__________________________________

These condensed classes offer a solution for situations when you
need or want your student to complete a high school science course credit
with lab in a shorter period of time - as, for example, many colleges offer
periodically as...
"J-Terms" (January)
"Mini-Terms"
"Block Class Scheduling"
"Spring Terms" (April)
"Summer School" (summer)
Some colleges offer "block scheduling" with students totally
focusing on only one or two courses for a few weeks rather than the
typical five or six courses over a semester.

While spreading a class out over a longer period of time may be optimal
for most students, there are times and situations when that's not possible,
desirable, or optimal for some students..
Condensed classes enable students to totally focus
on one subject for a short period of time (4 weeks)!
Here's How it Works...

1. Students have access to 24 recorded classes (standard level) that average about 30 minutes each and a PDF of Professor Landry's textbook for that class. The course includes instruction on how to take notes and study for optimal learning and retention. Students can watch the class at their convenience.
Daily (Monday through Saturday for 4 weeks) homework assignment (turned in daily with a deadline) includes watching the class recording, taking notes, studying the material, and reading a textbook chapter (average of 8 pages per chapter). Graded by Professor Landry.
2. Students have access to our proprietary, interactive (fun) online laboratory to perform 8 labs and create lab reports (1 turned in with a deadline every 3 days ) - no supplies needed. They will have instruction on creating quality lab reports. Graded by Professor Landry.
3. Students will take 8 tests (1 every 3 days that's open and available to students for 24 hours) that each cover 3 classes / chapters. Students will also take a final exam. Grades by Professor Landry.
4. Students receive a final grade for the class and with a passing grade, a high school science credit with labs.
5. Students have access to Professor Landry via email with a quick response that's
typically within hours but always at least the same day.
6. Students have 24/7 access to class chat if they'd like to get to know other students taking the same class. Life-long friendships have developed from class chat. :)

Note: All of these science classes include the following at no additional charge:
- Access to our proprietary, interactive, homeschool science laboratory online ($90 value).
- Digital (PDF) access to Professor Landry's textbook for that class ($97 value).

"Where did this kid come from?"
"Greg, Jacob has just finished his second online class with you and I can't tell you how your classes have totally transformed the way he looks at school and science in particular. This is the guy who I literally could not get to sit down for 30 minutes to read biology. He can't wait for your class every week and has the assignments done before I can even ask him about it. My husband's comment was, 'where did this kid come from?'.
Thank you!"

FAQ's for Condensed Hybrid Online Classes

Can students watch recorded classes at their convenience?
-- Yes, anytime prior to the homework due turn-in deadline that allows them to watch the class and complete their homework for that assignment. They can also work ahead if they'd like to.
What is the transcript credit for this class?
-- One high school science credit with labs

Are there labs / lab reports with the hybrid online science classes?
-- Yes, for all hybrid online science classes. We have developed interactive (fun) online labs that are a part of our hybrid online classes - there is no additional cost to you for access to this laboratory and there are no supplies to purchase - everything is done online.
This enables students to perform very realistic labs online. Most public and private schools now use online labs. Students are able to actually perform tasks in the lab - It's a very realistic experience for students who are able to experience and participate in many labs not typically possible before college for high school students. This is very interactive - it's NOT watching a video.
Students are able to virtually pour liquids, light burners, move things in the lab, weigh things, measure temperatures, record results, etc. Most students love these labs. There are no supplies to purchase or smelly dissections - EVERYTHING is done online. Students are instructed on how to produce quality lab reports and they turn-in formal lab reports (with each lab experiment) which are graded.
What if students have questions?
-- Students have access to Professor Landry via email with a quick response that's typically within hours but always at least the same day.

Do you offer early registration or sibling discounts?

-- We typically open registration with an early registration discount. Email Greg Landry for a sibling discount code.

You offer "standard level" online science classes - which students should take those?
-- Standard level biology, chemistry, human anatomy & physiology, and conceptual physics online classes are standard high school level classes that are less rigorous than "honors" classes. They are specifically designed to be interesting and appealing to students whose interests and talents may lie in areas other than science and math - students who may sometimes struggle with science or math.
It gives students a firm foundation and basic understanding of the subject. It prepares them for life - to move into adulthood with a keen understanding and appreciation of God's magnificent creation! It is similar in intensity, depth, and scope to a standard public or private high school class, but taught from a Christian worldview. Also, many students who take my standard level classes attend college and are well prepared.

The depth, breadth, and pedagogy of many "honors" or "college prep" science classes leaves many "non-science" or "non-math" students frustrated, uninterested, and ultimately learning very little. I find that students in this situation often miss the big picture and they don't have an overall understanding of the subject matter that is so critical in these classes. They can't see the forest because they're lost in the trees. My standard level classes enable students to see the forest and will allow them to learn science through the lens of their God-given interests and talents.
How long does it take a student to do the daily work for the class?
While this can vary greatly among students and day to day, considering watching the class, homework, labs with lab reports, and studying, students should plan on an average of about 2 to 3 hours per day, Monday through Saturday for the 4 weeks of the class.
What is the academic calendar for the 2026 condensed hybrid courses?
-- Assignments are due daily for these four weeks except on Sundays.
April 6 - May 4 (final exam is on May 4)
Do Parents have to help students with anything or do any grading?

-- Students are guided in their study by Professor Landry and held accountable to complete the work, yet are led toward being independent learners and critical thinkers. Parents do not have to do any grading or anything else for classes but are encouraged to be aware of what their students are doing.
Are students issued an end-of-class grade for a course?
-- Yes, students receive an end-of-course grade in their grade book online. This serves as an independent evaluation of a student's performance. For some employers, colleges, and universities, this validates homeschool grades.
